What We Do

The Southwest Private GP service runs regular clinics with experienced GPs at a private hospital in Taunton. 

We are happy to provide appointments to anyone who is concerned about their health - it doesn’t matter if you are registered with an NHS GP or not. 

Here at Private GP Southwest we can deal with any general practice problem ranging from sore throats, skin rashes, lumps and bumps, knee/shoulder/hip pain to mental health, women's health and all sorts of other problems/issues. This is by no means exclusive. By nature, GP work covers every bit of medicine and is the first port of call for any health problem or issue.

Our experienced GPs will be happy to spend time with you discussing your symptoms and concerns and offering their expert advice and support. 

We work closely with the Nuffield Hospitals and can promptly organise further investigations, tests and referrals for onward care if needed.

GPs working in the NHS are often under tight time constraints, but we know that many people need more time to talk through their health concerns. 

Our standard 30 minute appointments allow time for our GPs to explore your medical history, family history, your circumstances and needs, as well as how your health is impacting on you as a whole person. 

If you have multiple or complex health problems we also can offer longer appointments.
